The Project Analyst II will support company-wide strategic objectives, initiatives and projects as assigned. This may include preparation or evaluation of cost benefit / best practice analysis, preparing measures to optimize organization and process work flows, and/or evaluating and implementing new business opportunities. To fulfill such duties, the Project Analyst II is to use personal knowledge, technical skills and company tools provided.
To fulfill such responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s principles of leadership and organization, the ALDI Management System.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports projects according to the position’s objectives upon request from the Manager of National Projects.
Develop and execute plan for medium and large scale projects and initiatives.
Perform in-depth analytical review of data on various topics/subjects.
Coordinate meetings to ensure cross discipline collaboration.
Assist Manager of National Projects and Director of Project Management on analytical based projects.
Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, timely and within the ALDI administrative policy and procedures.
Analyze working procedures in order to identify Best Practices.
Assist Senior Project Analysts and other Project Analysts with project responsibilities.
Determine and create required project deliverables such as project plans, executive summaries, and training materials.
Act and decide independently within the delegated area of responsibility.
In addition to the position responsibilities mentioned above, the individual has the responsibility to carry out individual tasks as requested by their superiors which are of the nature of the job description or result out of necessity of the business.
Bachelor's Degree in Business/Management or a related field and minimum of 3 years progressive work experience in an operations or financial analyst position; or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of the strategy, organizational authority, interdependence of job duties, products, systems, and services of the company.
Knowledge of and ability to recommend, interpret and/or apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
Knowledge of and ability to utilize personal computers and related software for word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Skill of preparing written materials such as correspondence and reports to meet purpose and audience.
Skill of developing and maintaining positive relationships with all business partners.
Skill of performing arithmetic equations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division; decimals, fractions, and ratios.
Skill of conducting cost/benefit analyses by identifying appropriate variables and translating them into actionable data in order to identify the best course of action.
Skill of conducting financial analyses by evaluating the company's financial position and operating performance; ability to apply such information to decision making.
Ability to develop rapport, trust and open communication that enhances the growth and job performance of department personnel.
Ability to organize, prioritize and complete activities consistent with one's personal and organizational needs to maximize the total time available.
Ability to give attention to detail.
Ability to select a course of action, considering appropriate variables in order to solve a specific problem or take action.
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with a group of individuals to make the work of the group successful and effective.
Ability to use organizational financial statements to compare actual financial performance withprojections; ability to facilitate corrective actions when results differ significantly from plan.
Ability to determine the objectives and risks of core and supporting processes that support our business strategy
Ability to develop and execute a project plan for a specified project and deliver key components or segments of a project.
